ASO is a small organization with a big heart! With the frosty weather of the winter season upon us, keep your heart warm by giving a gift that makes a real difference.
We receive no government funding and rely on generous donations from people like you to provide FREE services to the ASD1 community across Ontario. We are the only such organization offering this kind of support.
Your big-hearted donation will help us continue to offer FREE support like:
AsperLink – ASO ActionLine
Our 24/7 phone support line to answer ASD1-related questions, concerns and provide recommendations to ASD1 services. We receive over 2,400 calls each year, and climbing.
Peer Connections
Our Peer Connections is an online social group for individuals 18 years old and up with ASD1 to help them make connections and friends, and find support from their peers.
Family Support Network
Our Family Support Network is for caretakers and loved ones of those with ASD1, and offers an opportunity for support and learning.
Special Programs
We offer a number of other programs to help those with ASD1 find their own way. These include two Dungeons and Dragons groups (for youth and young adults) to help them use their creativity while developing skills like communication, cooperation and problem solving. And we have worked with JVS Toronto, Toastmasters, Microsoft, and LimeConnect, among others, to deliver skill development and destigmatize autism in the workplace.
